Current ("we," "our," or "the app") is a daily time-blocking planner for iOS. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Data you provide

• Account information: If you create an account via Apple Sign In, we receive your Apple-provided user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address.
• Task and schedule data: The tasks, schedules, templates, and preferences you create within the app.

Data collected automatically

• Analytics: We use PostHog to collect anonymized usage analytics (e.g., feature usage, onboarding completion) to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is sent to analytics.
• Crash reports: Anonymous crash data may be collected to help us fix bugs.

Data we do not collect

• We do not collect location data.
• We do not collect contacts or photos.
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and sync your schedule across devices.
• To process your subscription via Apple's App Store and RevenueCat.
• To improve the app through anonymized analytics.
• To send you notifications you have opted into (e.g., task reminders).

Data Storage & Security

Your schedule data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you create an account, data may be synced to our servers (hosted on Supabase) using encrypted connections. Account credentials are stored securely in the iOS Keychain.

Third-Party Services

• Apple Sign In: Authentication provided by Apple. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: Cloud data sync. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• PostHog: Anonymized product analytics. Subject to PostHog's Privacy Policy.

Calendar Access

If you enable calendar sync, Current accesses your device calendar via Apple's EventKit framework to display and sync events. Calendar data is only accessed locally and is not sent to our servers.

Your Rights

• Delete your data:You can delete your account and all associated data from the app's settings. Local data can be removed by deleting the app.
• Access your data: Contact us to request a copy of your data.
• Opt out of analytics:You can disable analytics from the app's settings.

Children's Privacy

Current is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page.
